Job Description
For our client, leading international company, we are currently looking for Packaging Competence Manager.
Key areas of responsibility:
· Managing and leading locally the Packaging Competence Center activities
· Making sure of the timely implementation of the most effective technical solutions on graphic, financial, structural plans from the first stages of the development (internally and with the suppliers) until the first sales
· Keeping an eye for the news in the world of the packaging out of the automotive sector and be able to show new concepts for the portfolio products so as to push farther the limits of the technical feasibility (design and process)
· Managing the team of the local Packaging Competence Center. Help their performance development in order to have the PCC reference for aftermarket global.
· Managing the development budget for new products and investments (with approval from management)
Requirements
· University degree (preferable technical background)
· Experience in project management (preferred areas: packaging, industrialization, automotive)
· Strong management skills (preferred experience in managing technical teams)
· Fluent English
· Working knowledge of SAP (additional asset)
· Creative, open minded, self-starter
· Strong Customer service orientation
· Excellent communication and relationships building skills
