IBM Security Managed Security Services (MSS) is looking for Oracle DBA in Wroclaw X-Force Command Center.
This role will participate in supporting Security Services Infrastructure Team in everyday IT operation job.
Responsibilities:
Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for installation, operation and maintenance of complex centralized and distributed computer systems in a multi-vendor environment.
Duties:
- Perform 2nd level support to all customers’ infrastructure and develop solutions to stabilize customer environments
- Oracle database administration and support
- User and Rights administration
- Batch management, patch management, disk space administration, performance tuning
- Database backup/restore
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in administration of Oracle database
- Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Wintel), IP Services
- DBA-Oracle skills
- Good knowledge about Oracle data pump utilities
- Good knowledge about Oracle database architecture
- MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL (nice to have)
- Basic experience in systems and network monitoring
- Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
