At the moment we are looking for:
Oracle Database Administrator
- Provide 3rd line support for the timely resolution of incidents and problems
- Ensuring all assigned database related incidents are fully investigated to the root cause, diagnosed and resolved
- Understand the operation of the applications in order to perform standard DBA activities i.e.:
- Perform schema updates
- Tune and refine indexes to achieve optimum performance
- Data unload/reload
- Implement solutions for CTE/production
- Implement data layer disaster recovery services
- Diagnose and resolve complex data access issues
- Execute regular maintenance and monitoring tasks
- Optimize the performance of the database
- Install and upgrade the Oracle server and application tools
- Control and monitor user access to the database
- Oracle Database Administrator with significant experience with Oracle versions 11gR2 and 12c
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administering complex RDBMS databases in an OLTP and OLAP environment
- Experience Creating, Cloning and Refreshing Database Environments
- Fluency in English
- Experience in 3rd Line Support role will be an advantage
