ORACLE Database Administrator

Main responsibilities

  • responsibility for multiple databases including enterprise class critical production environments (10g-19c)
  • daily support service including: database deployment, migrations, upgrade, import/export, monitoring and control, backup routines, database recovery, database performance audit and tuning,
  • cloud migration and transformation
  • project POC, participation in the evolution of customers
  • troubleshoot problems regarding the databases,
  • resolving incidents and working on long-term solutions
  • coordination and assistance with application migrations
  • implementation and maintaining of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • automatizing daily tasks

Requirements:

  • good knowledge of Oracle database, RMAN, DataGuard, +ASM and related techs
  • knowledge of OEM 12c/Cloud13 is a plus
  • knowledge of querying (SQL) and basic scripting
  • good knowledge of Unix systems
  • experience with public cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud) would be a valuable plus
  • very welcome knowledge of alternative DBMS and open source engines (ex. MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL)
  • good English
  • accuracy, availability
