Operations Manager role
For our Client, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to manage relationships with financial partners, manage licensing requirements, and lead compliance initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll serve as an early member of our Operations team in a fast-paced rapidly growing startup.
As the Operations Manager, you will…
● Build and own operational relationships with key banking and product partners
● Liaise with lawyers and compliance experts to manage licensing and compliance
● Identify operational requirements and solutions for new product offerings
● Work cross-functionally with a number of companies teams including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and others
● Develop and manage end-to-end project plans for new implementations, working closely with other stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery
● Define SLAs and performance standards
● Assist with incident resolution when needed, working closely with Engineering teams to drive partner communications and escalations
What Will You Bring To This Role…
● 3-5+ years of experience of operations experience at a fintech startup
● Experience managing relationships with financial partners, ensuring compliance with financial licensing requirements (money transmitter licenses, broker licenses, etc.), and/or with KYC
● Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
● Highly effective written and communication skills
● Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
● Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership
● Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects
● Knowledge of financial modeling and financial principles
