Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
They are an international and long-established organisation within the Food industry which attaches great value to analysis that helps farmers and consumers.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This organisation is looking for an experienced Operations Director which provides oversight for all facilities in the region. As Operations Director you are responsible for meeting all performance standards. In this role, you are a member of the overall leadership team and you provide coaching and direction to all aspects of the business. This project will be for about 6 months with a possibility for extension.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you a specialist who is alway focussing on improving safety culture and its programs than this could be the position for you. You will be partnering and working together with operational group leaders. You are experienced in having a technical oversight of all production plants. Other responsibilities will focus on:
- Leading implementation of efficiency programs
- Working on raising performance of poor plants through monitoring
- Attracting and retaining talent for the organisation with a focus on developing strong leaders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations
- Bsc in engineering or related field
- Expertise in maintenance reliability
- High leadership and communication skills
- Background in developing and coaching individuals and teams
