Network Security Engineer - Firewalls

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of products for the construction industry. They are focused on building a digital environment for the international Group.
Considering the numerous new projects and further development of the IT division, they are looking for a person who has experience in handling a very large number of firewalls and who will support the existing team with his experience
Description
- Administering global distributed firewall solution
- Responsible for ensuring the service functionality globally
- Troubleshoot network and firewall problems
- Responsible for Lifecycle and Patch Management on firewall systems
- Support and integration of new systems to the service
- Managing security on access to internet with usage of proxy service
- Provide technical expertise in the resolution of security issues
- Research and remediate issues, including malware infections, data leakage or exfiltration, and vulnerabilities with hosts
- Assists in compliance with regulatory and legislator requirements of IT regulations
- Plan and implement new security systems and tools to improve the security posture of the company
- Research and provide guidance around the operation and support of security products and tools
- Initiate support tickets with service providers to resolve issues and hardware failures or related to hardware maintenance and security contracts.
- Support in the technical development and implementation of global IT Security projects.
Profile
- Proven Vendor Knowledge with Certifications for Fortinet
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, IP-Stack)
- 2nd/3rd Level Support Experienced in relevant field
- CISSP or similar security certification is a plus
- Fluent English
