Network Infrastructure Administrator

Main activities:

• Switch operation (Cisco / HP Procurve / Extreme Networks)
• Routing operation (Cisco / Extreme Networks)
• Hardware replacement handling of LAN / WAN equipment
  • Opening of trouble-tickets
  • Analysing and description of fault situation
  • Remote support of local (DACH) onside engineers (english)
  • Closing and documentation

Optional tasks:

• Arruba AP60 and AP61 and Cisco 12xx WLAN operation
• Epicenter operation (Extreme switch management application operation)
• Operation of Bluecoat PacketShaper (Paketeer) appliances
• Operation of Bintec dial-in platform
• Operation of Cisco ASA firewall devices

• Fluent English language is a must
• German language would be an advantage
• Deep knowledge in Cisco IOS Router- and Switch-configuration
• Deep knowledge in IP-configuration
• MS Office
• Proactive team player
• Good communication skills (internal and external)
• Flexible
• Willing to work with different cultures
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and out of office hours (7*24 operating time)
