Murex Business Analyst - MiFiD

We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance.
A client is embarking in a Transformation Program -- Fixed Income and Equities Cash Murex implementation -- for Global Banking and Markets (GBM) group in the Pacific Alliance Region. This Transformation aims to increase client's market share and results by reviewing and investing in business infrastructure End-to-End (E2E), including processes, technology and people/operating models.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Solicit MIFID related Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs (When needed)*Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables*Liaison between PMO and Mx developers, single point of contact for MiFiD Mx workstreams to clearly document specifications and articulate to developers*Document requirements and workflows for the project. Write JIRA stories for the Mx workstreams as needed*Work with vendors to understand trade reporting requirements and Best Execution requirements*Work with the development teams to ensure data is correctly sourced, analyze feeds to identify issues and help troubleshoot*Organize and perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (QA/SIT/UAT)
SKILLS
MUST
- 4+ years' experience with Mx 3.1 in IRD, CRD
- Strong understanding of Markets and overall Financial concepts
- Good understanding of Regulatory data requirements
- Organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills
Must:
- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
- Strong SQL, Unix, Sybase and Oracle skills
