Monitoring Engineer (Metrics Service)

Key functions / responsibilities:

• Joining the team (5-8 ppl) responsible for developing and maintaining the global Metrics Service - the service is using Graphite / carbon and Grafana components.
• Cover the whole scope of design, develop, test and running the environment.
• Delivering a stable, end-to-end and fit-for-purpose solution.
• Maintaining and enforcing the security policies, automating administrations tasks for the environment.
• Use and implement automation, implement CI/CD, automated testing and configuration management;
• Always looking to improve the services based on market changes;
• Working in a team with highly skilled people and enjoy a creative atmosphere where trying things out is encouraged.

 

Requirements:

• Solid experience working with following technologies, tools or languages:
  • Experience with Graphite, Grafana and generic monitoring knowledge, preferably gained in an enterprise environment

    OR

  • Knowledge of Microservices, Kafka/Docker, Kubernetes 
• Use and implement automation, implement CI/CD, automated testing and configuration management;
• Fluent English is a must;
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps methodology;
• Higher professional studies;
• Very good communication skills and positive,open and can-do attitude.
• Experience in Scripting/API and/or Web Development skills are nic to have.
