Role description
As a Microbiology- Food Technology Technician, you will be tasked with aiding in the development of novel products utilizing microbiological methods. Your focus will be on researching and developing new bacteria and ingredients for these products, with the ultimate goal of distributing them within the Mexican market.
Responsibilities
-You will be expected to provide support in the development of innovative culture blends for fermented milk products
-You will analyze the bioprotective properties of starter cultures against undesirable yeast and fungi
-You will also aid in the production of yoghurt-type prototypes and employ general microbial analysis techniques, such as acidification curves.
-You effectively manage your work and present results to project teams and scientists in a professional manner
Requirements
- MLO or HLO degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Food Process, Biotechnology, or relevant field.
- FMCG knowledge
- Experience in similar positions in a production environment
- Pro-active mindset and hands-on
- Excellence communications skills in Dutch and English (oral & written)
