THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They sell their products in almost 100 countries through their daughter companies. This requires them to have over 300 employees but due to their current growth they require at least 1 more, and that may be you!
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the demand planner you will play an essential role for the delivery of various products on a global scale. This requires you to communicate with all of the departments within the Supply Chain in this company. By analysing sales data and constant contact with suppliers you know how to create an efficient demand plan whilst always looking out for way to optimize this even further.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will be responsible for the global demand planning together with your colleagues. To do this you will need to gather information about the market, sales and suppliers by constantly staying in contact with these parties but also by analysing them. All of this will lead to the most accurate forecasts possible. Also you will be responsible for:
- Monthly S&OP reviews with various departments in the company
- Making the KPI's focused on forecast accuracy, inventory levels and distribution dependacy
- Giving input towards the overall Supply Chain Planner to make sure procurement is on track
- Acting as the communicator between customer service, sales, production, procurement and much more..
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Logistics, Supply chain management or Business Administration
- At least 3 years' experience in a Supply Chain environment
- Experience with demand planning and creating forecasts
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and general supply chain processes.
