ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the medical/scientific expertise, making you the affiliate’s voice for oncology products and therapeutic areas. Asked to provide medical / scientific expertise and guidance to key stakeholders for assigned products and significant therapeutic areas, including scientific collaboration and professional relationship development with KOL’s.
To provide scientific input to MA strategies for the department and brand plans, and medical support for medical department activities under the overall direction of the Affiliate Medical Director. Take leadership in creating the Belgian medical oncology team to ensure scientific quality for their current product portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and lead the oncology medical team
• Maintain / develop in depth knowledge of assigned products and relevant areas
• Provide expert medical advice for assigned products and related therapeutic areas
• Develop professional relationships with KOL/s
• Give scientific presentations
• Keep up to date with relevant literature / societies / meetings
• Establish trainings and update relevant training materials.
• Design and implement clinical research projects
• Provide the required oversight to manage review, approval and conduct of IIS studies.
• Review of promotional material.
• Provide input into marketing strategy and key commercial initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
• Medical Degree or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline or higher.
• Fluently in English, Dutch and French.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
• People Manager / experience in building teams
• Experience working in oncology in the pharmaceutical industry in Belgium.
• Customer orientation.
• Full-time
• Travel 50 % of the Time
