The company is a subsidiary of a global pharmaceutical company in bio-pharmaceuticals.Role Description
The materials scientist will be part of the R&D operations. That department is responsible for preformulation screening of new active pharmaceutical ingredients, solid state characterization and selection of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipient qualification.Responsibilities
You will guide the pharmaceutical development teams on the selection of excipients based on scientific, quality and regulatory argumentation. This also includes the design and execution of experiments for the functional characterization of excipients. Your group is concerned with investigation of physical interactions between excipients and active ingredients. Also, you will conduct risk assessments for new excipients.Requirements
You hold a Master or PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biosciences or Pharmaceutical sciencesYou are customer-oriented and results-driven, able to prioritize
