THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium.
They are a large family owned company with production sites in 3 European countries. Due to their ever growing production they require a new material planner to join their team.Their products are enjoyed by millions everyday and well known by everyone.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be joining the overall supply chain team to strengthen them specifically for the Belgium production site. As the material planner you will be making the procurement and inventory plans for the raw materials required for the various products. This requires you to communicate with various suppliers, sales department and of course your colleague planners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the planning and purchasing of raw materials. Also you will be responsible for:
- Constantly looking for the best possible inventory capacities
- Dealing with differences in inventory and analysing them
- Continuously improving the planning processes
- Working various complaints or problems regarding delivery of inventory
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc or BSc degree in Economical or Logistical direction
- 3 to 5 year’ of relevant experience within Supply Chain or Planning
- Fluent in Dutch and English and the ability to work in French and/or German
- Knowledge of an ERP system and the ability to work efficiently with MS Excel.
