Our client is a professional Agriculture and Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They are a company whom is continuously growing whilst keeping their focus on innovative idea's and sustainable products. This modern company however still has the traditional feeling of a Dutch family owned company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you make the overall planning for transport and production, spread out over +5 production plants. You do this to optimise the efficiency of both these parts. You enjoy puzzling to create the best possible master plan so your colleague planners can make their day to day plans without error. This requires you to switch quickly between all the available data and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the overall (master) plan for the +5 production plants for both the logistical as the production side of the business. For this you have to use multiple planning programs and various data inputs. These systems are Quintiq and SAP. However you also need to be able to see the bigger picture to improve the processes wherever necessary. Also you will be responsible for:
- Introducing new possibilities to optimise various processes in the company
- Using the available data to schedule the best possible planning
- Keeping the balance between customer satisfactory needs and cost based solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain management or similar
- Knowledge of SAP or other planning software
- Capable of making quick decisions based on your birds eye view of the company]
- Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of the English language
