Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
In your role as Manager Material Planning you are a member of the site operational management team. You report to the General Manager and manage a team of 8 fte. As manager your day to day activities are both handson and strategic. You play a key role in the business process excellence and continuous improvement projects, as well as to transfer your knowledge to the team members. The working environment is hectic and the department is in a transition phase in which processes needs to be further improved and made sustainable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and manage department plans and objectives within material planning, inventory (including packaging) management, production planning and capacity planning
• Generate and manage budget for the department
• Root cause analyses
• Management of logistic processes both internally and with with external service providers
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain\
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Production Planning and Material Planning
• Experience with SAP and change processes is a must
• Project management, change management and Lean management would be an advantage
