You will be responsible for all processes within the EU region.

Role Description

As a logistics and procurement specialist, you will be responsible for logistical sourcing and distribution processes within the European region. Strategical sourcing and the subsequent improvement of logistical processes and supplier management will be the main responsibilities, but improvement of collaborations with other business units will be within scope, as well.
Therefore, we are looking for an experienced professional, specialised in both procurement and logistics within complex environments on international level.

Responsibilities

- Implementation of logistics and procurement strategy for the European region
- Supplier management and improvement of performance and collaboration
- Improvement of logistical processes for several sites in Europe
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects
- Responsibility for logistical spend and budget control
- Manage a group of complex and international stakeholders
- Act as project manager during implementations
- Negotiations for local and international contracts
- Improve the cross-functional collaboration in the field of supply chain, finance and others

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Finance
- Experienced supply chain professional, preferably with associated certifications
- Expert in the field of strategic sourcing and logistics
- Prior experience in the life sciences industry is a strong plus
- Change agent and the will to continuously improve
- Strong negotiator and previous experience in supplier management
- Project Management experience is a strong plus
