Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Senior Logistics Manager you will play a key role in the European Logistics activities for the client’s therapy for cancer treatment. You will be responsible for the distribution of the European strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in the EMEA region and the United States to accomplish the client’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for analyzing and improving the logistical processes within the supply chain. It will be your job to make the client’s supply chain as efficient as possible. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
· Product launch and lifecycle management
· Supporting the implementation of the European distribution strategy
· Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure
· Managing in-house warehousing
· Execute invoicing and intercompany flows
· Collaborate with Finance and Tax departments
· Cooperation with the European QA team to ensure that the client is GMP compliant in Europe
· Identifying potential improvements within the logistical processes and creating a plan to realize those improvements
· Interaction with logistics suppliers, manage the performance and review business performance
REQUIREMENTS
· MSc with 10 years’ experience within the life sciences or a BSc with 15 years’ experience within the life sciences, biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry.
· Broad knowledge of various supply chain aspects and experienced in a biopharma environment and product launch.
· Experience in leading a customer service or intercompany team
· Strong in collaborating with cross-functional teams, analytically strong in dealing with problems and complex supply chain processes
