You will operate in a cross-functional environment being the liaison between multiple disciplines within the company and third parties. You execute with a strong focus on country centricity, GDP & Trade compliance and cold chain management.
- Ensure supply, meet service levels and stay within budget in a GDP compliant way.
- Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on appropriate management level.
- Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.
- Plan, build and manage distribution lanes for the region
- 2+ years’ experience in the logistics industry, in a role of supplier management
- Supply chain, cold chain and warehousing expertise
- Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication
- Preferably worked in a regulated environment (Pharma, Meddev, Food)
- Strong analytical skills (incl. MS Excel) and ability to distill insights
- Big plus for GMP/GDP knowledge, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence

Role Description
The logistics Engineer is accountable for a cost effective European distribution strategy and apply continuous improvement principles while designing, implementing and sustaining distribution solutions.You will operate in a cross-functional environment being the liaison between multiple disciplines within the company and third parties. You execute with a strong focus on country centricity, GDP & Trade compliance and cold chain management.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, escalations, reporting and improvements.- Ensure supply, meet service levels and stay within budget in a GDP compliant way.
- Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on appropriate management level.
- Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.
- Plan, build and manage distribution lanes for the region
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management or Industrial Engineering & 2 years of directly related experience. Or bachelor's degree with solid experience.- 2+ years’ experience in the logistics industry, in a role of supplier management
- Supply chain, cold chain and warehousing expertise
- Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication
- Preferably worked in a regulated environment (Pharma, Meddev, Food)
