This function aims at the overall control the movement of materials and products within and outside the company, coordination and operational management of resources and plant logistics means and stock control.

Description

  • Control and manage logistics processes, as well as ensuring the application of logistic procedures
  • Control and monitor the implementation of internal procedures
  • Presentation of improvement plans in the logistics plant area
  • Control and optimization of logistics processes
  • Implement concepts and processes in logistics factory, with the aim of optimization, standardization and flexibility
  • Makes contact with the Central Coordination Internal Logistics and other staff towards solving logistical problems, and define improvement actions in logistics processes, performs Team resource management in order to obtain the highest profitability of the same
  • Following the 5S methodology and make improvements, motivating their teams accordingly
  • Daily monitoring of indicators set for your team, to act on the shortcomings highlighted by each indicator
  • Review daily / regular operating performance and announce changes on the operational conditions that will result in an improvement of the efficiency / quality, resolution / analysis of operational problems giving directions on their resolution
  • Promote operational meetings with the areas of logistics, in order to analyze and align logistics concepts and processes and failures.

Profile

  • Higher education level (min. Bachelor Degree) and min. 3 years in logistics functions
  • Experience in an international environment
  • Experience in an industrial company
  • Working knowledge of lean tools
  • Fluent in English knowledge
