THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Laboratory technician you will operate, clean and carry of any autonomous Microbiological analyses and Chemical -Physical analyses as instructed by the Lab Manager and scheduled as agreed with the Analytical Plans of the Projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following activities will be part of the job:
•Perform the required Microbiological & Chemical-physical testing of finished and raw products and protoypes
•Ensure that all the required documentation is completed in a timely fashion and that it is accurate and legible
•Complete test results to standard and take action in out-of-specification situations and discuss the results with customer is needed.
•Follow and enforce Good Lab Practices (GLP’s)
◦Maintain adequate stock of lab supplies
◦Maintain work area in a clean, neat, orderly manner
•Inform Supervisors and Management when out-of-specification situations occur.
•Identify and make recommendations for continuous improvements
•Other duties as requested by the Lead Laboratory Supervisor or Management
REQUIREMENTS
• Laboratory education on MLO- HLO level or equivalent, specialization Food Chemistry or Food Microbiology
• Knowledge of cGMP and cGLP regulations
• At least 1 year experience in a comparable function within a Food-Agricultural Industry environment, or equivalent
• Accurate and critical
• Team player
• Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language is a must -
• Office and Excel skills and basic knowledge on equipment analytical software ( Ti Amo, Lab X, Kinexus) is required
• Experience with Bioanalyzers and Chromatography is a pro
