Role description
As a Laboratory Specialist you’ll be part of the Quality Control Operations(QCO) and will be working in a team of 5 other lab specialists. You will focus on deviation management, analysts can come to you with questions regarding deviations from tests and you have to make an decision about what needs to happen. Besides that you could take part in various improvement projects, both locally and globally. And in addition you continuously discuss with your team how everything is going and you’ll have weekly meetings with the QP’s.
Responsibilities
- You are the point of contact for the QCO department regarding for example deviations, training or documentation
- Knowledge carrier of various test techniques (micro) biological subject matter expert and QC test process knowledge. Review and / or release QC test results.
- From the deviations Implementing and / or leading corrective and preventive actions and improvement initiatives
- Signaling, analyzing, coordinating and reporting (OOS) deviations and trends
- Leading or participating in projects such as assay transfer / assay validation / calibration / lab equipment
Requirements
- Minimal 5 year relevant working experience, preferable quality control testing
- Good experience with GMP and/or other quality systems
- Yellow belt certified and /or experience Lean/Six Sigma tools
- Experience with SAP / LIMS and electronic data processing in QC test systems
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both oral and in writing
- Able to maintain an overview in a complex environment, to prioritize and where necessary to identify and to act proactively.
