Our clients are active in the Pharma and Biotech space. We are looking for multiple Key Account Managers (home based).Role Description
The Key Account Manager Pharmaceuticals is responsible for pharmaceutical sales to customers based in their appointed region.Responsibilities
In your role as Key account Manager your goal is to position our client as the primary supplier to the market for pharmaceutical raw materials. The Key Account Manager must possess a strong capability to sell pharmaceutical products using effective interpersonal processes to build long term, collaborative relationships with distributors and customers.The Key Account Manager Pharmaceuticals will develop and execute with immediate effect a sales plan and processes designed to meet annual revenue objectives in their territory. In addition to gaining and maintaining raw material business into the pharmaceutical market, there will also be a need to sell Organisational capabilities and competences. Ability to work multi-level within accounts from CEO to R&D, cross functionally, with operations, supply chain, quality and procurement departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology- Minimum of three years of experience within a comparable role in sales in the B2B pharmaceutical business
- You are a self-starter and have a entrepreneurial mind-set
- Willing to travel, approximately 70% of the time
- Highly proficient level computer skills including Office and CRM software solutions
- Affinity with pharmaceutical ingredient products
