The Company

Our client is a major player on the market of ophthalmologic products, with their mission to improve people's vision everyday. Their international presence has turned them into an acquainted and respected company by a lot of eye surgeons, opticians and ophthalmologists. They are currently looking for an account manager, who will be in contact daily of the loyal existing clients.

Role Description

As an Key Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for questions and needs from the key clients. As mentioned above, the Account Manager wil be responsible for the interaction with specialist such as eye surgeons, optician and ophthalmologists amongst the company's key clients in Flemish Brabant and Brussels. You will continuously be monitoring the market, to look for any opportunities to develop new business, and you will be trying to expand your network with new prospects.

Responsibilities

Daily interaction with the existing clients in within Flemish Brabant and Brussels, building up and maintaining long term relationships
Prospect for new potential clients
Introduce them new products and provide assistance to malfunctions
Contribute to the making of and implementation of the sales strategy
Obtain you personal sales targets
Continuously monitoring the market to address new product needs or market trends

Requirements

You hold a BSc or MSc degree, preferably of relevance to ophthalmology
You can speak Dutch and French, English is a plus
You have earlier experience (3+ years) in a medical devices and sales environment
You are motivated and customer-driven
Great communication and negotiation skills
