Key Account Leader – Specification.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Participates in the development of specification strategy/targets with the Specification Director EEMEA to define business objectives and the means to implement. Defines and executes the appropriate action plans in order to achieve the defined objectives
- Studies the market ( customers, competitors, ...), is able to recognize the needs and competitive advantages to secure the specifications in key projects
- Visits all the specifiers interfering in building projects with focus on architects, interior designers, investors/developers … : presents the brands and the products, identifies opportunities, proactively engaging and influencing a cross section of project parties
- Knows the follow up process requirements from the specification until the order
- Develops and maintain excellent relationships with Specifiers
- Works closely with the distribution team to follow the projects
- Educates and consults project parties and provides technical solutions about the applications of our products
- Implements relevant reporting and builds up the internal data base using the CRM tool
- Analyses the performance of the territory in terms of objectives and implements adjustments necessary to achieve the objectives
Required Experience / Qualifications & Competencies / Personal attributes
- Commercial Education & 5 years-experience in Specification in premium building products (b2b sales of components or semi-finished products for building activity)
- Ability to work with architects / designerrs
- Experience in business development and networking
- Excellent network of specifiers
- Ability to convince
- Analyze & decision maker
