THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
This company is busy with improving their products to grow internationally. They have a broad range of food products and are still expanding.
This role is open since someone got the opportunity to grow within the company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be the central part of the logistics team and you will report to the Manager Supply Chain. Analyzing and optimize the processes such as planning, inventory, expedition, administration and documentation is a main responsibility in this job. The most contact you will have with the planning department, production, transportation department and external stakeholders. Since the company is so busy improving their products it is also important to recognize the bottlenecks in processes and also in products or in other departments within the company. You will make reports of all of this tasks and discuss this in a monthly meeting with several managers and stakeholders of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing processes (planning, inventory, expedition, administration and transport documentation)
- Contact with several stakeholders such as the planning department, transportation department and production (internal) but also several external stakeholders
- Make rapports to discuss in the monthly meeting, in this reports will be: bottleneck, point of improvement, analysed data, performance etc.
- Set KPI's to make sure the set goals are guaranteed and the department runs smoothly.
- Make sure the department goals are in line with the main goal of the company and the goals of other departments
- Recognize bottlenecks within the department or in other departments to continuous improve the company and guarantee the best quality
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (must!), preferably an extra language such as Spanish or French
- Max. 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, since they are really looking for a starter or someone who is looking for a second job
- Knowledge of erp and it systems, preferably SAP or JDE
- Ability to act as a team-player but also work independently
