Role Description
As Junior Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for the overall procurement and sourcing strategy of your portfolio of Services (Marketing, Sales, Professional and Facility) for the Dutch market.
In this position you will get the chance and support to gain the necessary experience in a complex and challenging environment. This is an independent position where you need an entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset, and you will get the freedom to develop yourself, your market, portfolio and come with new ideas and opportunities. Your primary goal is to constantly increase productivity, optimize the external local spend and reduce costs. But also select and negotiate the best contract and manage the suppliers. Everything in close collaboration with your colleagues across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Implement local category plans and sourcing strategies in areas like market intelligence, creative agencies, sales & media services, consultancy and further common spend areas;
- Business Partnering with marketeers
- Sourcing of the best suppliers conform internal guidelines.
- Evaluate suppliers.
- Performing scoping, tendering, bid analysis, negotiations, contracting and evaluations;
- Continuous improvement for your category.
- You collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. On both global (BU) as site level. So you must have the ability to gear your own efforts towards needs and wishes of these stakeholders.
- Besides your global responsibility, you are also a partner for local purchasing procedures
- You deliver operating cost savings to meet annual targets
- Keep developing yourself in the market movements and opportunities and share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
- You have a Master or Bachelor degree with at least 2-3 years of relevant purchasing experience.
- Experience with buying Professionals Services is an advantage.
- You're fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
