In this role, you will:
• Create new test scenarios, and apply them in exploratory or regression software testing
• Automate test scenarios using scripting or dedicated tools (Test Complete, Selenium, Robot Framework, UI Automator etc.)
• Verify software functionality against user requirements or specification
• Verify bug reports provided by customers; works with customers to specify reproduction steps
• Perform integration testing, including cross-platform test setups or interoperability with dedicated hardware
• Document software defects with clearly described test setups and reproduction steps
• Analyse usability and visual consistency of graphical user interfaces
• Compress features against competition, and prepare relevant performance benchmarks
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (must include at least one semester of mathematics) and any fundamental course in software testing
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to details, high communication skills (both spoken and in writing), basic familiarity version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with Test Complete OR Selenium OR Robot Framework OR UI Automator or similar
Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications:
• Equivalencies: ISTQB “Certified Tester”
