A new Finance Centrehas been lately established in Katowice, which will cover accounting activities for the European markets. The company is an international brand, well-known in its industry. Currently, we are looking for a Junior OtC Analyst with Germanwho will join the AR team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various operational F&A activities within an Accounts Receivable area
- Accurately and timely perform all activities, according to the guidelines received from Team Leader
- Responsible for the preparation of specifications/reconciliations and documentation of the submitted financial data
- Timely completion of all allocated tasks (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Communicate with internal and external SSC customer in an effective and efficient manner
- Report periodically or upon request KPI’s measurements
- Possible participation in process migration
- Prepare process documentation: desktop procedures and process maps
- Participation in continuous process improvement
- Perform billing, prepare invoices and/or other documentation and send them to the clients
- Match incoming payments against open items, investigate any differences
- Review customer accounts and prepare dunning documentation
- Prepare parts of the monthly reconciliation
- University/ College: Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Previous experience in accounting/ finance area
- Knowledge of accounting basic principles
- Very good communication skills and ability to work in the team
- Good verbal/ written English (min B2)
- Willingness to travel during the transition phase
- Very good German (min B2)
- SAP knowledge (as advantage)
