Currently we are looking for
Junior Field Test Consultant Mobile Device
As a member of the Mobile Device System Test group you will be responsible for:
- Executing field tests on manufacturer latest test devices and software
- Troubleshooting issues found, collecting Key Performance Indicators
- Multimode operations, gaining knowledge in the following technology areas: WCDMA, GSM/GPRS, LTE
- Testing and commercializing of manufacturer products
- Work with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, System Design, Customer Support, ASIC Design, RF Circuits and Hardware Design, etc.)
- The position will require travel worldwide up to 70% of the time
What we expect:
- at least 1-year experience in Field Testing or System Optimization role in Telecommunication
- Understanding of digital communication systems, RF propagation, WCDMA, OFDM, telecommunication concepts, Physical/MAC layers and Call Processing concepts in one or more of the following air interface standards (GSM/ GPRS /EDGE / Rel99/ Rel5 / HSDPA/ HSUPA/HSPA+, LTE)
- Knowledge of wire line and wireless data protocol stacks including RLP, PPP, IP, TCP, IPV6, MIPV6
- Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handsets for various air interface standards
- Familiarity with IP telephony network, SIP, IMS, and IP telephony standards, air interface performance analysis, characterization and optimization
- Strong communication skills, effective team player
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel (over 60% travelling part)
