Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of building materials. We are recruiting for the newly opened IT Service Center in Katowice.
Your new role
Perform:
- 2nd level support of various applications
- Incident reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with Application Specialist for technical improvement opportunities
- Investigate, resolve and / or escalate tickets reported to the 2nd level
- Achieve a high 2nd level resolution rate w/ adequate documentation
- Comply w/ procedures, segregation of duties and service levels
- Contribute to knowledge management
- Participate in Handover projects from other regions / Teams
- Investigate, resolve and/or escalate all tickets related to entrusted applications (business and process related)
- Act as ticket owner and maintain high quality communication with the business
- Assessment of the incident / service request
- Resolve if possible and in line with internal procedures and personal authorization level
- Cooperate and communicate with 3nd level support if needed
- Customize, configure and parametrize systems accordingly to Standard Changes List
- Perform other activities provided by your Team Lead
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree in IT or Engineering
- 1 year experience in supporting areas like: applications, infrastructure, CMS, network
- Fluency in English
At least 2 from the below skillsets:
basic experience with Windows operating system (Windows 10, Windows Server) and Microsoft Office applications, oriented to Applications Support, basic level of scripting language (e.g. PowerShell, PHP), basic knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure, AWS), basic experience in working with Active Directory, Exchange, knowledge of one or more of the following domains is an advantage: database administration, web application support, basic knowledge in CMS Systems (Wordpress, Joomla)
