Your new company
For our Client, company which is establishing new software development structures in Wrocław we are searching for Java Backend Developers.
Your new role
You will be working as a technical lead in a cross functional team that use agile methodologies to develop digital services. This means that you will combine development with coaching the rest of the team. The team will be working in close collaboration with the stakeholders throughout the whole development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and operations. The team will explore and prototype highly performant applications and features with the customer and usability in focus. As a technical lead you are of course used adopt a devops/continuous delivery mindset to develop great applications that are hosted on AWS.
· Lead the development team in technical and architecture discussions
· Coach the team members to make sure they delivered great code using tools such as pull requests and code reviews.
· Together with the development team and the product owner design the new solutions
· Drive the team towards a continuous delivery setup
· Ensure proper security, monitoring and alerts for the teams applications
· Ensure that features and services developed are performant and scalable
· Develop new applications/features together with your team
What you'll need to succeed
You have long experience as a developer building online/mobile applications using microservices built in Spring Boot and continuous delivery mind set. You are used to deploying your applications using containers using AWS but you probably have also tried other technologies such as serverless applications since you understand that not every application is the same. Kafka, APIs, NoSQL, Jenkins are other tools in your toolbox. You are used to coaching other developers and using things such as code reviews and pair programming to improve the quality of the team’s code. You have an applicable university level education. You speak and write fluent English.
