For our Client, international company located in Gdynia, we are looking for Java Team Leader.
Your new role
You will join a global team spread across 3 operational centers, consisting of Java developers, who are responsible for maintaining existing and adding new commodities fundamental data, using in-house Java applications and Oracle database.
IT team is supplying the company customers with top quality commodities fundamental data. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous service improvement, leading the team in delivering the code to ensure content completeness and timeliness, as well as adding new data. Your daily responsibilities will include also setting and maintaining working standards, ensuring compliance and managing dependencies. Moreover, ensuring team operating rhythm is adequate, managing major project work: platform and source outages, migrations Ensuring the onboarding systems and tools are in good shape and fit for purpose – organize development as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate you need to possess general understanding of modern software development lifecycle, architecture and processes. Moreover, at least 3 years of professional experience with Java, Spring as well as good knowledge of Oracle DB and Linux operating system (cron, basic bash skills). Leadership, communication and fluent English skills are also required.
