For our Client, well-know international company located in Gliwice we are looking for a person interested in the role of IT Specialist (Monitoring).
Your new role
In this role your responsibilities will include:
• Handle variety of requests/events related to incidents occurring in IT environment
• Perform operations and health-checks that are based on well-documented procedures
• Work with cutting-edge and well renowned monitoring tools
• Provide assistance with generating various reports from infrastructure devices
• Cooperation with first line of support (ServiceDesk) and third line of support to ensure fast and effective issue/incident resolution.
• Analyse and remotely resolve incidents
• Identify, diagnose and resolve problems together with other support teams
• Participate in projects
• Follow the implemented processes (ITIL)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our daily work and processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate you need to have:
• at least Bachelor degree (preferably in IT area)
• basic understanding of network, servers and application environments
• ITIL v3 Foundation certified is a plus or experience in working with ITIL processes
• very good English skills
• pro-active behaviour, take initiatives to improve our daily work
• willingness to travel internationally
• readiness for shift work (incl. weekends/holidays)
