Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of modern insulation materials, drylining systems, plasters and accessories, thermal insulation composite systems, paints, floor screed, floor systems, and construction equipment and tools.
Currently, they are looking for a Command Center specialist who will be joining a high-performance team that is driven, innovative, and packed with self-motivated individuals. As part of the team, you are responsible for the group monitoring services, provided across several technological platforms - security, infrastructure, network, or application. You will be responsible for the first line of the company's defence against security threats, infrastructure issues, and all other incidents that put Knauf's digital operations at risk of a standstill. Outside of standard monitoring tasks, you will also have an opportunity to develop more in-depth troubleshooting activities and work alongside teams of extremely skilled technical experts of various technologies. Description
- Monitoring the IT infrastructure on a 24/7 basis
- Handling and react to tasks such as identifying security breaches, backup failures, network outages, application crashes or misbehaviour
- Conducting simple troubleshooting on identified issues
- Working with operational procedures and incident tracking systems (e.g. SNOW) and enterprise-wide support processes (Incident/Request/Problem/Change Management)
Profile
- You have knowledge and general experience around IT Technologies in the corporate environment preferred prior experience on similar position,
- You have knowledge of Windows operating and server systems as well as understanding of network management concepts and software (Active Directory, Exchange, O365, SCCM, VDI),
- You gained basic knowledge of security applications such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPN, Anti-Virus, Proxy, Encryption,
- You are have good English speaking skills, German would be a plus,
- You have strong interpersonal and user service skills,
- You have good organizational skills, proactiveness, and can-do attitude,
- Technology related certifications are welcomed,
