For our location in Gdansk we are looking for a IT Provider Manager.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Control of providers in day-to-day business with regard to ITIL processes. (e.g .: change coordination, incident and problem handling, escalation management ...)
- Documentation and tracking of provider related tasks and issues in the IT service management system (Jira, Confluence).
- Definition and monitoring of SLAs and KPIs to control and steer provider and ensure a high quality of service delivery including management reporting on a regular basis
- Steering of internal experts and external service providers in case of services disruptions for fast recovery and avoidance on long term
- Take on an active role in the transfer of IT products to the productive operation including outsourcing operational tasks to partners
- Advising and support project teams on issues and questions relating to provider (management) and sourcing topics
- Continuous improvement of collaboration with our provider and supplier to ensure smooth operation and be as flexible as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
General Background:
- University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines
- At least three years of professional experience in the field of provider management,
- Continuous self-learning attitude combined with high level of curiosity to explore new ways of working
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, customer focused, collaborative and result-oriented
- Passion to give others an advantage of understanding by using straightforward language and to drive the learning of all team members
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work to meet deadlines
Skill Requirements:
- Openness to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of IT operating processes and standards like ITIL also in regard to DevOps development and delivery model in cloud environments
- Experience with use of IT service management and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Practical experience with operational handover of IT solutions to an external or internal provider
- Awareness of challenges in regard to intercultural collaboration of teams
