Our Client is an international pharmaceutical company, employing over 2,000 people across 12 countries. Currently we are looking for IT Director to their new head office for Central and Eastern Europe, located in Wroclaw. The successful candidate will be responsible for global IT strategy.
Description
- Leading IT strategy in cooperation with CFO,
- Assuring effective IT delivery of planned activities (rollout projects, implementations, migrations etc.),
- Providing leadership in improving IT processes and developing team capabilities,
- Providing expertise in technology related issues, including company's systems, security and infrastructure architectures,
- Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals,
- Searching for, suggesting and implementing innovation solutions and ideas and creating a technology road map for the business,
- Cooperating with business and analyze business requirements to determine their technology needs,
- Occasional travelling.
Profile
- Experienced as an IT leader within a matrixed global business in a rapidly growing environment,
- Experienced in technology integration of acquired businesses,
- The ability to partner with and work with the management team to develop optimal technology solutions for the business,
- Relationship management and contract negotiation with vendors is essential,
- Ability to develop strong relationships across the company,
- Experienced in work with end users,
- Ability to understand the business - user needs, what's possible, how to deliver it and effectively communicating to meet and manage expectations,
- Likely to have significant relevant work experience.
