In the frame of new challenging project for our customer – international IT company in Wroclaw, we are seeking iSeries Administrators.

Main responsibilities:

• Installing and supporting the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities, including upgrades,
• Monitoring and maintaining operating systems, managing the operating system configuration,
• Recommending operating system updates and configuration modification,
• Appling operating system patches as required,
• Maintaining tools for remote management and alert monitoring,
• Maintaining the hardware and software configuration server information,
• Managing System ID’s and domain structure,
• Evaluating planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes,
• Maintaining OS security,
• Providing system health check and trending reports.

Technical Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in iSeries technology,
• HW knowledge, OS400 installation & configuration
• BRMS & backup management and restore experience

Other requirements:

• English on at least communicative level (additional language: German, French is an asset),
• University degree or equivalent (preferably in Informatics or IT related),
• Good communication and documentation skills,
• Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in the international and multicultural environment,
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work in shifts - ability to keep night and weekend service.
