For our Client- an international, rapidly growing company located in Katowice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: Internal Control & Consolidation Process Lead
Your new role
You will be responsible for perform assigned balance sheet reviews and internal control reviews according to the internal control framework set among Group entities, as well as support the Chief Accounting Officer in the preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements. Scope of duties included:
What you'll need to succeed
To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need Accounting/finance educational background, experience in a similar position (at least 3 years), very good knowledge of MS Excel and be fluent in English (min B2). Having experience from Big 4 or other SSC/outsourcing company will be an asset. You have to be results-focused, have strong analytical skills, finance expertise and attention to the details.

Your new role
You will be responsible for perform assigned balance sheet reviews and internal control reviews according to the internal control framework set among Group entities, as well as support the Chief Accounting Officer in the preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements. - Supporting balance sheet reviews for a sample of Group entities
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts with evidence provided
- Discuss with local finance in charge for the accounting of each legal entity regarding potential findings, unreconciled items
- Checking the adoption of the Group accounting manual
- Following up the implementation of the internal control framework
- Perform the testing phase reviewing, on a sample basis, the evidence provided by each control owner
- Supporting the Chief Accounting Officer with the consolidation process
- Inquiring with local finance accounting team for relevant information to be provided for consolidation/preparation of the Consolidated Financial statements (including disclosure)
- Ensure adherence to local accounting regulations Group policies
