For our Client, an international company from production sector, we are currently looking for Internal Audit Specialist.
The primary purpose of the job is to provide an independent guarantee that an
organisation’s risk management, governance and control are operating effectively. The job
includes responsibility of working as part of the European Audit Organization to monitor
and evaluate how risks are being managed within European organizations and to
strengthen the safety of the financial activities within the company.
Main responsibilities:
Participates actively in planned Audit reviews at the company entities as scheduled by the European Audit Manager
Prepares audit reports and monitors agreed action plans risks to the management.
Performs regular quality review of the operational processes performed at FEBS and reports risks to FEBS Management
Initiates ad hoc audit reviews basing on identified or reported risks
Follow-up on significant findings from previous audits
Analyses financial processes at FEBS and FEBS customer entities using risk based approach, procedures and the company accounting policies
Cooperates with Corporate Departments regarding regional findings
Main requirements:
- Formal internal audit certification (CIA):
Proven track of record of working in Internal Audit environment and/or valid internal audit certification is required to launch internal audit activities at FEBS
- Accounting knowledge:
In order to work in the area of finance conducts logical analysis from various perspectives, evaluates process outputs against procedures, risk and internal control
- Understanding of international accounting standards:
Fluent understanding of different accounting standards and ability to grasp the high level picture of process differences. Risk and quality management, consulting, internal audit:
- Recognizes risks and quality issues in the processes that might impact the organization negatively from audit and reputational risk perspective.
- Excellent communication skills:
Communicates clearly and is fluent in particular in report writing, presenting, interviewing, and active listening.
-Resilience under pressure:
Remains focused under pressure, direct the attention to arguments in business discussions with senior stakeholders within financial community and outlines risks clearly.
-Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Understands, evaluates and analyses business processes swiftly to identify risks and process grey areas that might have an impact on the financial risk control environment.

Required knowledge and skills
- Master University degree
- Formal internal audit certification (CIA)
- Formal accounting qualification nice to have
- >4 years of experience in several roles including shared services/global business services finance and accounting, financial controlling, consulting or internal audit
- Deep understanding of international accounting standards
- Experience in risk assessment, quality management or control functions
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to perform high level discussions with senior stakeholders
- Analytical thinking
- Experience in audit reviews reporting
- Presenting level of commitment, responsibility, ownership
- Capable to adjust to the situation
- Open, honest, fair and clear
- Quality consciousness
- Detail oriented and well-organized
- Ability to establish priorities
