Interim QA Manager

THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Limburg Belgium.
The company is a large manufacturer of AGF products for the foodservice sector. The site, which is one of the company's smaller sites and produces fresh goods, is one of the few production sites in the food industry to receive a BRC 7 AA rating.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Interim QA Manager, you will maintain a continuity in the level of quality within the factory and respond to client questions and complaints, as well as handle suppliers. The most important task is preparing and successfully completing the ISO 14001 and AIB audits later in the year.
This is a temporary assignment for approx. 6 months for 3-4 days per week, starting in July/August.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage 1 QA Assistant.
- Manage the quality system based on HACCP, ACS, BRC, IFS, RSPO, AIB and GMP+.
- Prepare and successfully complete the ISO 14001 and AIB audits.
- Give trainings to staff (QA, food safety, hygiene).
- Handle clients and suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering Chemistry, Master's Degree in Bio-Engineering, or a similar degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as QA Manager on a production site in the food industry.
- Experience in a 24/7-operating plant is an asset.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and AIB.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
