THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
Medical Device Supplier Company with active representation/ production in more than 15 countries and 5000 people working worldwide. Specialized in injection moulding (plastic/ metal) production to deliver a product portfolio of (mainly) orthopedic products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The interim Plant Manager will contribute to take the company to the next level, creating a culture of efficiency optimization maintaining Quality standards.
The Freelance Plant Manager is the ultimate leader for all production activities.
Additionally, the Plant Manager will be responsible to manage, develop and motivate a team of Senior Managers. He/She will be reporting to the European Director of Operations.
In this cross-functional role maintaing a good communications with other Plant Managers is key.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full Profit & Loss responsibilities (P&L)
- Ensure the alignment of the Corporate strategy and the local goals and plans
- Oversee production operations, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, Quality, safety, plant cost management...
- Lead and introduce Continuous improvement projects
- Ensure Product Delivery maintaining the compliance of Quality Systems (US FDA 21 CFR, ISO13485) and customer standards
- Full Production Operations Leadership
- Contribute to develop strong customer relations seeking to maintain or increase growth
- Finance: create a strategic plan of budget allocation, investment and innovation as well as CAPEX and CIP process execution
REQUIREMENTS
- Master Degree in a relevant field (Technical/ Engineering fields are preferred)
- MBA in a management/ leadership program
- Proven track-record as Plant Manager
- Strong knowledge of production principles
- Expert in Continuous improvement tools (Lean/ Six Sigma)
- Experience within the Medical Device industry manufacturing (or injection molding, plastic/metal materials production)
- Strong leadership and Project Management skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
