For one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and support human resources operations across the corporate environment in Poland. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, ensuring the effective management of the employee lifecycle and alignment with regional HR strategy.
Please note that this is a stationary job in the company39s office with the further possibility of HO.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Poland.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and Polish labour law.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and redundancies.
  • Lead and develop a small team (initially 2–3 direct reports), fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive organisational change initiatives and support business transformation efforts.
  • Ensure effective onboarding, performance management, and talent development processes.
  • Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to align local practices with broader strategies.
  • Champion diversity, equity & inclusion, employee wellbeing, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment processes and support workforce planning as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Polish labour law and ensure full compliance with all HR practices.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in an HR Supervisor/Lead/Manager role, with direct people leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Polish employment law; familiarity with other European legal frameworks is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing employee relations in a corporate and/or retail environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (pref. Workday) and MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Polish language skills are advantageous.
