Join a global HR team as a Global Mobility Consultant with German, where you'll coordinate international relocations, support cross-border employees, and collaborate with global partners. Scope of duties: 

  • Acting as a key point of contact for HR teams and managers regarding international employee mobility, including assignments, relocations, and business travel.
  • Providing expert advice on immigration, international tax, social security, and labor law matters, with a strong focus on German and EU regulations.
  • Managing end-to-end global mobility processes – from cost projections, social security applications (e.g. A1 certificates), and contract preparation to coordinating international payroll activities.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and external partners, including German authorities and service providers.
  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies, processes, and documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements in all aspects of cross-border employee movements.
  • Supporting international employees throughout their relocation journey and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Occasionally traveling to our headquarters in Erlangen, Germany (once per quarter).

Requirements:

  • University degree in labor law, economics, finance, or a comparable area — or completed vocational training with relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in global mobility, immigration, tax, or relocation services.
  • Strong understanding of German and international tax and social security regulations, including EU Posted Workers Directive.
  • Fluent in both German and English (C1 level).
  • High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Openness to occasional travel and collaboration across cultures and time zones.
