We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take responsibility for a team of designers, delegating tasks while ensuring the correctness and timeliness of work. The successful candidate will work with a team of interdisciplinary engineers and will be required to provide technical and design leadership as part of their duties.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with customers to identify and resolve technical knowledge issues,
- Maintaining high quality of all engineering work,
- Close cooperation with the company management board,
- Ongoing supervision and management a team of engineers,
- Be responsible for development, efficiency and compliance of the team,
- Participating in the maintenance and development of tools to improve the work of the team,
- Substantive supervision over the team's tasks,
- Plan, organize and evaluate current activities.
Our expectations:
- A Master's, PhD or recognized equivalent in the maritime,
- 5 years of professional experience are welcome in construction / equipment / interior engineering in the maritime industry are preferred,
- Very good knowledge of shipbuilding and related technologies.
- Experience with class rules and regulations.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Teamwork skills and independence in solving tasks
- Ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.
