Four our client, a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry, we are looking for a Head of IT Service.
Your new role
On a position of a Head of IT Service you will be responsible for the operations and further development of infrastructure services defined for the tower Compute and Store. You will be a global contact person, escalation authority and coordinator for the business-critical services for the customer and Business relationship management.
As a Head of IT Service Tower you will be responsible for:
- all aspects of architecture, engineering, development, testing, deployment and delivery following global IT standards and guidelines defined by Enterprise Architecture Management.
- financial planning and management of related services
- standardisation across all regions and businesses for the Services which has been defined by Enterprise Architecture Management
- for review of service quality within the framework of the agreed service level agreements or KPIs which are defined by Business Relationship Management and Enterprise Architecture Management
- the continuous optimisation of service quality within the tower and tower-wide activities and definition and implementation of appropriate measures
- compliance with service management in responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
- Academic background: Computer Science or similar studies
- Min. 7 years of IT experience including +2 years of leading position in IT delivery organisation
- Certification (or knowledge) for ITIL Foundation
- Knowledge and excellent understanding of IT infrastructure technology at least for one responsible service area: (Compute, Storage, Operation Systems, Backend Services, Virtualization, Containerisation, IT Automation & Orchestration, IT Configuration Management, Backup, Hybrid Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure)
- Good knowledge of DC technologies and operations
- Good knowledge of service controlling and financial management for services
- Good knowledge of project management
- Efficient management of dynamic workloads
- Leadership experiences (especially leading global service teams),
- Excellent English communication skills,
