- Define, execute and adapt the functional strategy based on current and expected CMC projects
- Connect and collaborate with other teams within the Drug Product Development department and the Vaccine Process & Analytical Development organization
- Cultivating internal and external relationships and partnerships
- Stimulate innovative problem solving and creating of Intellectual Property
- Manages and improves team dynamics and supports personal development of the different team members
- Minimum of 8 years' of hands-on industry experience, preferably in formulation development
- Able to demonstrate and understand the scientific and technological concepts behind the activities executed in the formulation development department
- Working knowledge of HR and Finance systems and concepts
- Exposure to various aspects of formulation development like stability, vaccines, viruses, troubleshooting, scientific study design and data management
- Line management and project governance experience

Role Description
You will manage the Formulation Development team. You will connect and collaborate with different departments and organizations, representing the Drug Product Development department in governance bodies as required.Responsibilities
- Manage the Formulation development activities for the CMC project portfolio and for continuous improvement projects, balancing supply and demand budgets- Define, execute and adapt the functional strategy based on current and expected CMC projects
- Connect and collaborate with other teams within the Drug Product Development department and the Vaccine Process & Analytical Development organization
- Cultivating internal and external relationships and partnerships
- Stimulate innovative problem solving and creating of Intellectual Property
- Manages and improves team dynamics and supports personal development of the different team members
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in a relevant discipline like pharmaceutical sciences or (bio)chemistry- Minimum of 8 years' of hands-on industry experience, preferably in formulation development
- Able to demonstrate and understand the scientific and technological concepts behind the activities executed in the formulation development department
- Working knowledge of HR and Finance systems and concepts
- Exposure to various aspects of formulation development like stability, vaccines, viruses, troubleshooting, scientific study design and data management
- Line management and project governance experience
