For our Client, a company which is establishing a new office in Katowice, we are looking for a Group IT Infrastructure Manager.
Your new role
The Group Infrastructure Manager has overall responsibility for setting out the infrastructure strategy and road map, developing the Group Policies and standards and for the successful execution of the infrastructure strategy. You will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of the group infrastructure hardware ensuring systems are patched and secure. Working on this position you will have direct management responsibilities over the IT support team across the organisation. This role will have direct management control of local IT engineers and providers to business entities and will influence and ensure that standards are met by compliance to Group policies and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be an ideal candidate you need to hold a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ IT or a related field, around 10 years’ experience in IT (EMEA/Global) related work and at least 5 years of managerial/ people leadership experience. Additionally, you need to possess experience as project lead or sponsor in running infrastructure transformation projects e.g. AD consolidation, migration to O365, LAN upgrades and proven experience in influencing peers. We are looking for a candidate, who is experienced in work in international environment and is able to communicate fluently in English. We are looking for a strong leader with can-do attitude and analytical thinking.
