Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
This company is one of the leading medical devices companies in the world. They work with a lot of international people and are originally from Sweden.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be responsible for the planning activities and managing the planning team. You will work very closely with several stakeholders and other managers within the company. One of the most important parts is to develop and grow together with the planning team. Next to this people management you need to keep an eye on the results and kpi's. All this tasks need to resolute into a team who can run the planning smoothly, cost efficient and improve the process continuously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the team of 5 yo 7 people
- Act as Integrator for several projects and stakeholders
- Tactical and operational planning resolutions to continuously improve the whole process
- Data Management & Control to keep the database clean and up to date
- Cost control and make sure the best prices are agreed on
- Improvement of all the processes and improvement of the quality of skills in the team
- Efficiency within the team to get better results
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree, Preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
- Min. 10 years of experience in Supply Chain (planning)
- Min. 3 years of experience in management positions
- Good knowledge and experience with SAP
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch, French or Swedish
- Willing to travel (10 times per year)
